1st day: Siderno
Arrival in Siderno. Hotel accommodation in the reserved rooms. Dinner and overnight.
2nd day: Siderno – Locri – Gerace
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for an excursion to Gerace and Locri. Arrival in Gerace and visit of the enchanting medieval village: the Cathedral, the treasures of the Cathedral, the deconsecrated church of San Francesco with its splendid polychrome marble altar, the Norman Castle. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit to the Antiquarium of Locri. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
3rd day: Siderno – Stilo
Full board at the hotel. In the morning excursion to Stilo: visit of the historic center and the famous Byzantine Basilica “La Cattolica”. Free afternoon. Calabrian dinner with folklore show.
4th day: Siderno – Pentedattilo – Reggio Calabria
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for transfer to Reggio Calabria. Along the way stop in Pentedattilo, a suggestive abandoned village, perched on a cliff with the characteristic shape of a hand. Arrival in Reggio Calabria, hotel accommodation and lunch. Free afternoon. Dinner and overnight.
5th day: Reggio Calabria – Scilla
Full board at the hotel. Free morning. In the afternoon guided excursion to Scilla: visit of Chianalea (ancient fishing village), of the Ruffo castle and of the Church of San Rocco. I’m going back to the hotel. Overnight.
6th day: Reggio Calabria – Tropea – Pizzo
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for full day excursion to Tropea and Pizzo. Arrival in Tropea visit of the town: the Cathedral, the Church of Santa Maria dell’Isola. Lunch in a restaurant. Continuation to Pizzo and visit to the Castle where Gioacchino Murat, King of Naples at the time of Napoleon, was shot, and to the little church of Piedigrotta. I’m going back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
7th day: Reggio Calabria
Full board at the hotel. Morning dedicated to visiting Reggio Calabria: National Museum of Magna Grecia, Lungomare defined by Gabriele D’Annunzio as the most beautiful kilometer in Italy, Roman Baths, Greek Walls and Cathedral. Free afternoon. I’m going back to the hotel. Overnight.
8th day: Reggio Calabria
Breakfast and departure. End of Services.
